Historian and political scientistDr. Regula Staempfli is based in Brussels and works as a political philosopher and lecturer in Germany, France and Switzerland, using German, English and French as the main teaching languages. She is the author of various textbooks and many articles dealing, among other issues, with democratic theory, European political decision making, women's history, design, political communications and political philosophy. Dr. Staempfli is on the boards of several organisations of international standing, such as IfG-Ulm in Germany, the Women's Archive in Switzerland and the Ethics Board for Swiss Statistics and the Executive Commitee of the Fachhochschule Koeln. She is also known through her many outspoken contributions as a commentator in television, radio and the print media. The Swiss born scientist lives with her family in Brussels. |
