Directions to HfG Ulm

Am Hochsträß 8, 89081 Ulm

Public transport
Tram number 2 towards ‘Kuhberg’, alight at the ‘Kuhberg Schulzentrum’ stop (10–15-minute walk) 
– Alight from the tram on the right-hand side and walk 10 metres downhill along the platform until a footpath crosses the tracks to the right. 
– Take this path to the right across the tracks, which leads you through an underpass beneath the main road. 
– Immediately after the underpass, turn right onto the path until you reach the main road, from which a side road branches off to the right over a bridge. 
– Cross the main road and follow the path straight ahead along the side road over a bridge spanning the bypass. 
– After 500 metres, the HfG Ulm will be on your right. Take the stairs by the yellow postbox into the building. The event area is on the 1st floor; the HfG archive, housing the exhibition, is on the top floor (3rd floor).

By car
from Stuttgart/Munich

– A8: Ulm Nord exit
– Follow the B10 towards Ulm and Friedrichshafen
– Take the Ulm Universität, Wissenschaftsstadt exit onto the K9915 (Berliner Ring)
– Continue to the Kuhberg Schulzentrum exit 
– Turn left onto Egginger Weg
– Turn right immediately: follow Am Hochsträß until you reach the turning area (bus stop)

From Memmingen
– A7/E43: Take the exit towards Ulm, Neu-Ulm, Senden 
– Continue on the B28
– Join the B30, heading towards Friedrichshafen, Biberach, Ulm-Wiblingen
– Take the Erbach, Ulm-Donau exit

Accessibility 
The HfG Archive on the 3rd floor (top floor) of the HfG building can be accessed via the entrances on the 2nd floor (lift to the left of the entrance to the 3rd floor) and via the entrance on the 3rd floor. To do so, please follow the road ‘Am Hochsträß’, which – past the gatehouse – leads round the building to the left.
Please note: There is no accessible access within the building between the first and second floors. Please use the route across the road.

Please use the car parks located beneath the building where possible.
